Hi guys my last christmas card tutorial for 2017. I started by cutting down my 6x6 white card blank to 5x5, I chose a paper to mat onto my card from the christmas paper pack, I cut a piece of silver card and put this through my Darice snowflake embossing folder. I then cut another silver piece of card using the fancy edge border die. I cut the snowflake dies 3 times 2 in pink and 1 in silver, I matted these snowflakes on to card stock, the pink onto silver and the silver on to pink. I used the sequins on string to attatch this onto the snowflakes to look like christmas baubles, I attatched the baubles on to the card and the used foam tape to put the piece of silver card I cut using the fancy edged border die over the tops of the baubles. I stamped the sentiment using versamark and used my black glitter embossing powder. I cut around the sentiment and matted this on to a piece of pink glitter card and stuck this at the top of the card, My card was then finished. Hello again, thank you for stopping by my blog to take a look. I really enjoyed making this card and was pleased with the finished look.
To make my card I used a blank a6 size card, I cut a matt of gold card stock slightly smaller than the white base card, I just cut it enough to leave a small border. I embossed the gold card using a flower embossing folder. I cut the window from the die using white card, I then cut a piece of acetate and covered the back of the die cut window piece, I used wet glue to stick the acetate. I stamped the christmas tree image using peeled paint distress ink from Tim Holtz, I coloured the baubles on the christmas tree image using my spectrum noir pens, I cut around the tree image so it would fit behind the acetate, I then stuck the tree image to the window. I used foam tape to stick the window to my base card. I stamped my sentiment using versamark ink and then heat embossed this using wow gold embossing powder. I cut around the sentiment and stuck it to a piece of red card and the used foam pads to stick it on to my card.
Hi everyone I enjoyed making this Christmas shaker card. I used a white A6 card as my base card. I matted the Base card with a piece of red and white spotty paper from a paper pad. I used my stitched circle dies to make the shaker element, I used shiny gold, silver and black stars in my shaker, I also used some tiny red beads. I stamped and coloured 3 gingerbread men and then fussy cut them. I positioned them on to my shaker window. I stamped the happy Christmas sentiment with my Versamark ink and heat embossed it using wow gold embossing powder. I cut around the sentiment using my fancy edged scissors, I matted this on to a piece of red card and stuck it at the bottom of the card, my card was then finished. Why not take a look at my process video on you tube.
Hi everyone I started my card by using a stencil which was tree/bark effect, I stuck my stencil over a piece of water colour cardstock, I then used my vintage photo distress oxide ink and a sponge applicator and gently went over my stencil until I had the desired effect. Next I stamped the polar bear image using memento tuxedo black ink. I used that ink as I was going to colour them using my spectrum noir alcohol markers. I used GB 1 & 2, DR1, FL3 and my blender pen. I fussy cut the image. Next I used my peacock feathers and salty ocean distress inks and blended them over the stencil image. I then used foam pads to adhere my images to the stenciled image. I then used a small amount of white acrylic paint and spritzed thid with water, I used my fan brush to flick the white paint over my card, this was to give a snowy effect. I stamped my sentiment and heat embossed over it using clear embossing powder. I used an a6 white card blank and matted it with a piece of red card, I then stuck my finished image on to my red card. I stuck my sentiment on to the card. I then went over the polar bears and my sentiment with my crafters companion sparkle pen and my card was finished

Hi everyone card number 2 in my christmas card series was made using the Seasons Tweetings stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I started the card by making my shaker element and inside the shaker I used fake snow and placed some of the birdie images I had stamped and coloured, then fussy cut. I used a white 6x6 blank card as my base, I then stamped all over the front of the card using Shabby shutters distress ink and a holly stamp. I then used my spectrum Noir DR1 and dotted red dots randomly over the stamped holly images. I had used a pierced edged circle die to cut an aperture in the middle of my base card, This is where I placed my finished shaker element. I then stamped the branch image using distress ink Vintage photo and fussy cut this out, I stuck the branch across the bottom of the shaker and sat three of the stamped images on to it. I stamped my sentiment and stuck it in the bottom of my card, My card was then finished.

The Canvas was done using various mixed media products. To start off I used white gesso and covered the canvas, I used a baby wipe to do this, I then dried it off using my heat gun. I then used 3 colours of brown acrylic paints until Igot the colour that I was looking for, the paints were all Artiste acrylic paints from Do crafts, I heat dried befor each application of a new colour. I then used modelling paste by Windsor & Newton to go over my leaf stencils on various parts of my canvas. I then used my green spray paint to spray over my leaves. After drying it I then used an orange paint to stencil more small leaves on the canvas. I then glued my image down using my mod podge and gluedmy various colours of leaves on to the canvas too. I then heat dried befor making some marks on too the canvas using Bananna yellow acrylic paint, I then heat dried the canvas again. Finally I added my quote to the bottom of the canvas.
Hi everyone, here is card number 1 in my christmas card series and as you can see, I used the cute little penguins to make my snowy scene.
Firstly I used a piece of water coloured card stock and used my salty ocean Tim Holtz distress ink to ink blend on to the card. I then spritzed the ink with my mini spritzer, I then dried it off using my heat gun, I repeated the process and was happy with it. I stamped the penguin images using memento black ink and coloured them using Spectrum Noir & Pro markers to colour the images, I then fussy cut around the images leaving a small white border. I had cut two snow banks from my border dies, I used foam tape to attach the first one on to the bottom of my card, I had stamped and cut out three christmas tree images, I used Tim Holtz peeled paint distress ink. I used the 2nd hill and stuck it on to my card and placed the other 2 christmas trees on. I then used a small amount of white acrylic paint on my craft mat and sprayed it with water, I then used my fan brush to add white splatters all over the card, This was done to have the paint look like snow. I stamped my sentiment on to white cardstock using versafine onyx black ink and cut around it with my fancy edge scissors, I stuck the sentiment in the top left hand corner of my card using foam pads. All that was left was to stick my cutie penguin images on to my card, again i used foam pads. Finally I used my Crafters Companion sparkle pen to go over my sentiment and my penguins, this left a lovely sparkle effect on my images.

Hello everyone enjoyed making this card, I worked with my 2 favorite colours which you have probably guessed are Black & White.
I started of with my blank white card which measured just under five and a half square. I used my pierced edged circle dies to die cut a circle into my card and also my black piece of patterned paper. I then glued the black piece on to my base card. I had cut the leaf dies using white cardstock, I then glued the leaves around the die cut circle, I then glued on butterflies, the largest butterly was cut from a paper pad of mine and the smaller butterflies were cut from a small die bought from the range. I then used some flower embellishments to stick on to my card and also used white pearls and black gems to decorate my card. I stamped my sentiment using a stamp from my collection, I used versafine Black onyx ink and then heat embossed over the sentiment using my clear embossing powder. I cut out the sentiment using my fancy edged scissors and stuck in the bottom right corner of my card. I then used my crafters companion sparkle pen which is the same as the wink of stella pen, to go over the butterflies and flowers. My card was then finished

I then put my acetate around the pink flower and cut away the excess acetate, I used two layers of foam tape to prevent my sequins from coming out, after I had finished putting the foam tape around I then used my embossing buddy to go around the inside of the flower to prevent the sequins all sticking to the sides, I then stuck the larger white circle on back of the shaker element. I glued the white frame around the flower. I cut the stem in brown and cut the two leaves in green, I suck the stem down first, then put the flower on to my card using foam tape, I then stuck the two leaves down. I then used my anti static tool to go around the inside of the tag to prevent my shaker ellements sticking to the tape. I used a variety if sequins and small beads as my shaker ellements. These cards were made using the new Paws for thought paper pack from Docrafts papermania. In the pack there is 5 sheets of cardstock, envelopes, lots of toppers and papers. I have made 10 cards up to now and have lots and lots of stuff left to make plenty more. This pack is well worth the money.
